For those looking to start small and gradually expand, iPowerWeb is a great choice. Their "Business Pro" package has been the #1 selling shared hosting package for 2 years, and upgrading is easy and painless all the way up to their $69/mo dedicated server option. Though their starter package might not offer as much bandwidth as you might like, their more advanced packages tend to be a real bargain in their class. You can get a dedicated server with iPowerWeb for less than most advanced shared hosting packages.

Like most other entry level plans, the Business Pro package is a Linux environment and not suited to Windows based websites. They do, however, offer a Windows Pro plan for $9.95/mo which includes ASP and .NET support on a Windows Server 2003 machine. Unfortunately, they only offer a MySQL DB and significantly less storage space than the Business Pro package.

One really great thing about iPowerWeb is their ease of ordering. I came across them when I was looking for cheap domain name registration (which I easily found on their site - $5.50/year!) and I was amazed at how quick and easy it was for me to register my domain. It literally took about 3 minutes start to finish, a breath of fresh air after experiencing the tedious "account creation" pages on other sites.
