Web Hosting Reviews

As we round out our first full year of operations, I feel the need to highlight one of our biggest accomplishments. Our web hosting reviews and comparison section has seen a great deal of improvement since January, and I'm quite pleased with the way it's coming together. We now list over 2,000 web hosts in our searchable directory, and we continue to add reviews and helpful web hosting articles daily.

While we accomplished a lot this year in our push to provide high-quality, independent hosting reviews, there are still greater challenges to come. Getting data entered into our system remains one of our biggest obstacles. Web hosting plans change daily, and web hosts go in and out of business at an alarming rate. Even with over 2,000 hosting companies listed, we still have only a fraction of the available hosting choices.

Our plans for the coming months include adding in more web hosts, more reviews, and updating plan data. Along with the last point, we plan to include VPS and Reseller plan comparisons - the fastest growing niche markets in web hosting. Additionally, we hope to add additional data points and search interfaces to allow for easy comparisons of plans offering certain features. We also hope to implement our own web hosting news reports and a blog where I can post updates such as these.

By the end of Q1 2006, I hope to have these upgrades in place. Once the web hosting reviews are complete, we'll be expanding the other sections similarly, starting with web design. I hope that you have found what we've done to be useful, and that our future endeavors surpass your expectations.
